When the target of a binding is a field (or a wrongly typed property name) instead of an actual property, the binding is silently ignored and no error is raised. This makes a simple issue difficult to debug and raising an exception would help in these situations.

When submitting a proposal on the Evolution forum, be sure to first read the contribution guidelines so your proposal is ready for discussion with the Forms team and community.
