Could you please upload a working reproduction project using the minimal amount of code necessary to reproduce the issue when you have time?

You may use my demo project.

I downloaded the project from GitHub, but I could not build it because I couldn't restore some references. However I ported over some of the layout code into a new project and ran it on several devices using Test Cloud, but I could not reproduce the issue.

One of the devices was an HTC M8 on Android 5.0 as you mentioned that was the device you are using. The test results are here: https://testcloud.xamarin.com/test/b55505-android_43cfbcea-8730-4ffc-9617-c4150f4aa836/?step=0_0_0

Can you minimize your project or provide a new sample project that reproduces the issue so we can continue looking into this? Thanks!

For the moment: I used a HTC M8s (which is different from the M8).

And besides: If I understand right, you used an emulator. That worked for me too. It was on the physical machine that it did not work (and still does not).

We don't believe that this is an issue and cannot move forward without a much more minimized project as requested. As such we are closing this issue for now as not reproducible. If you find that you can reproduce the issue in a more minimized context against the latest prerelease or nightly builds, please reopen this with a new project.
