When building a Xamarin.Android project referenced by another project, the generated MDB files get deleted by the IncrementalClean target, making a build fail when run in parallel.
The target _RegisterMdbFilesWithFileWrites incorrectly registers mdb files for the IncrementalClean target, which get deleted.
The target should look for *.mdb files, not *.dll.mdb files, as follows:
<Target Name="_RegisterMdbFilesWithFileWrites" BeforeTargets="IncrementalClean">
<Output TaskParameter="Include" ItemName="_FilesToRegister" />
<Output TaskParameter="Include" ItemName="_CleanCurrentFileWrites" />
I believe I am running into a similar issue, but on a much larger scale, that is not letting me build or debug on visual studio. Please look at bug# 54467 for details!
