Description code2199 2017-04-03 13:35:25 UTC
It does work for other Unicode chars, like ▼.

<Label Text="▶" TextColor="Blue" /><Label Text="▼" TextColor="Blue" />

The first remains Black; the second one will be (correctly) display as Blue.

This problem only occurs in Android, not in iOS.

I was not able to reproduce this with a new project. I tested on an Android 4.4 emulator and 6.0 device and with Forms and 2.3.4-pre6.

Can you attach a reproduction project to the report so we can look into this? Please note that we may close this issue if there is no response after 30 days. Thanks!

I have attached an example project.

Note that the problem doesn't occurr in de Android emulator. I can only reproduce it on my test device, an Samsung SM-A310F, Android 6.0.1, Kernel 3.10.61-9624472, KNOX 2.6.
