Description Marek Safar 2012-05-29 05:03:05 UTC
Stepping over for code like this

using System;

class C
	void Test ()
		for (; ;)
	public static void Main ()

debugger steps from for line to } line which is not intended.

generated IL code

  IL_0000:  nop
  IL_0001:  br         IL_0008
  IL_0006:  nop
  IL_0007:  nop
  IL_0008:  br         IL_0006

Sequence points

<entry il="0x0" row="6" />
<entry il="0x1" row="7" />
<entry il="0x6" row="8" />
<entry il="0x7" row="9" />

The is no sequence point for IL_0008 and debugger should continue to IL_0006
