JistTV App please handle confidential

this is pretty strange and still happens in

I tried to create a reproproject but could not reproduce the bug there so I made two screencasts

1. Explains the problem and shows how it should look like on Android https://www.screencast.com/t/MFGcg9LUPZX
2. How it actually looks on iOS: https://www.screencast.com/t/eMU363pu

and will upload my App as private Attachment I hope you can find the location of the bug.

Hi Thomas, thanks for filing this report! Let me run the attached project to try reproducing and confirming this issue. I'll update the report with my results.

I was able to reproduce the issue with the attached repro project on iOS. The ViewCell height is not correct and the Label gets cut-off: https://www.dropbox.com/s/933fbhin47ddjqo/2017-03-15_12-33-00-PM.jpg?dl=0

However, if the cell goes off-screen and returns on-screen, then it will be rendered properly: https://www.dropbox.com/s/432qpa29wwddt6e/2017-03-15_12-35-21-PM.jpg?dl=0

I don't believe this is the same issue as bug 51536 though because when testing with Forms 2.3.4-pre4 (the version before it was fixed), the issue still occurred even after scrolling a cell off-screen and back. This may actually be an issue with the Grid height not being initially calculated correctly.

I am confirming this report and the team will investigate further.

I've updated the bug report to be public and the attachment private.

Comment 9 thankee 2017-09-23 05:10:41 UTC
I have the same issue, Grid in listview dosen't calculate its height correctly when I set the height of RowDefinition to auto.
