The search tab in MacDoc is confusing. Clicking on the tab shows an empty list, it's not immediately obvious that you need to type the search term in the other side of the window.

Maybe the search tab could be removed ad search terms could be shown in a dropdown below the search box. Or simpler, clicking on the search tab could place focus in the search box.

Search entry in the toolbar is now focused when the tab is selected in master. I'll investigate adding extra hints (in the tab itself for instance) that user should user the top-right corner search box.
