If you install the name.atsushieno.proguard.facebook nuget package it will use that for Proguard if you check the box in the project properties.  The Multidex option also uses Proguard but does not respect the custom Proguard.

The nuget package adds the following to the build:


If the Multidex option is checked in the build properties ProguardToolPath is not respected.
