Description Mike 2017-01-10 03:51:44 UTC
I am contracting for a company that needs the ability to create images and display them in a Universal Windows Platform (UWP) application. The images may be updated later and then re-displayed. The problem is that Xamarin::Forms::Image objects usually hold onto the UWP image files once they are displayed, so updating the UWP image files tends to fail. Even setting the Xamarin::Forms::Image objects to null or removing them from a Slack does not typically release the image files attached to them.

I am currently using Xamarin::Forms in case that is important.
