Add a button to a layout
Double click the button to open the text/resource editor

In MD:
Full text is selected, allowing user to begin typing a new string immediately

In VS:
Cursor is put at the beginning of the default string.

IMO, the MD behavior is probably the preferable one as the default text is not usually desired in the widget. Filing as enhancement.
