Description John Miller [MSFT] 2016-12-15 13:41:24 UTC
** Overview **:

There is no way to change the fonts used for the ToolbarItems and the Back button text

** Expected Results **:

NavigationPage.SetFontFamily(...) or similar
NavigationPage.SetTextColor(...) or similar

This might cover the case for https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=50099 too.

** Additional Information **:

The current solution is platform specifics. For example on iOS:

UITextAttributes backItemTextAttributes = new UITextAttributes()
     Font = UIFont.FromName("Font Name", 18),
     TextColor = UIColor.White
UIBarButtonItem.Appearance.SetTitleTextAttributes(backItemTextAttributes, UIControlState.Normal);
UIBarButtonItem.Appearance.SetTitleTextAttributes(backItemTextAttributes, UIControlState.Highlighted);
