This also affects the designer in Visual Studio.

Add a button to a layout.
Double click the button to edit the text.
Click into the text box.
Press tab to open the resource-editing text box.
Click away from the button to apply the changes.

Expected/Enhanced result:
Button should display the resource value ("Value of the string")

Actual result:

Button displays the resource name (@string/nameOfTheString)

Setting as an enhancement.
