Screenshot showing underscore missing but it is still connected to all the other instances
When I create private variables in CSharp I always prefix my variables with an underscore. For Example "_myVariable". When I add an end of the line comment like so "private float _myVariable; //this is my comment". The underscore on the variable visually disappears even though both MonoDevelop and Unity understand it is there and to connects correctly to the other instances of the variable. If I remove the EOL comment the underscore reappears visually. Anyone else experiencing this issue. If it makes a difference I am using the Windows 8 Consumer Preview.
fixed in later versions.
I suggest you ask Unity to update their version of MonoDevelop. Version 2.8.2 was released six months ago and there have been at least 5 substantial bugfix releases since then.
