Description Mikayla Hutchinson [MSFT] 2012-05-07 00:08:31 UTC
The MonoDevelop blame margin is quite wied and makes it hard to see the actual code. Maybe we could limit its width, and show more information in a tooltip, like Eclipse: http://aniszczyk.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/egitblame1.png

We have the tooltip. I guess the next step is making it thinner? :P
Comment 2 Marius Ungureanu 2013-07-26 14:36:58 UTC
New PR has an idea of how to make it smaller. :D

Making the tooltip show too much data isn't quite useful with our current implementation. There's no way to draw a line to separate from user/commit data and commit message.

Michael, can you confirm this is no longer an issue? :D

Yep looks good to me.
