In the MD solution, open autogen.sh.template, from MD.Autotools project. Select some lines of text and run the Cut command. The text is not cut.

The cause was that the mime type for that file was null. Maybe a default text mime would be better for unknown files - there may other places where a mime type == null check is missing.
