In the latest master builds of MD, mdtool is giving an error message of the following:
(mdtool:57672): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_main_quit: assertion `main_loops != NULL' failed
The project was still built and the applications .app was generated but the above error message was listed so I'm reporting it
mdtool build --configuration:"Release|iPhone" /Users/ldriscoll/Projects/iOSUIAutomationDemo/iOSUIAutomationDemo.csproj
Project is attached
MD: 2.9.6 (revision-9aa93c81b3b2d17472f28ab2ade843963817dd76)

Sample iOS project
Looks like a bug in https://github.com/mono/monodevelop/commit/fee338171683b783e2dfb7140fab4168714b5a5c
Note also that calling Gtk.Application.Init could break mdtool on headless servers. Does it really need to be called?
We need it to be called because of the regex scanner in the gettext addin that uses mime types.
I've taken it out now is the mime type generation broken - but who cares, we can do it from inside the IDE.
Why do anyone need mdtool anyways - it should be replaced by xbuild asap.
