When MonoDevelop is highlighting a URL, the underline is one character off.
Specifically, if I type, it underlines:


It should underline:


This occurs in the version of MonoDevelop present in Ubuntu 12.04 -

If it makes any difference at all, it's the 32-bit x86 version.

Ah, another detail...
It works correctly in comments (green highlight).
Where it fails is inside strings (magenta highlight).
I am seeing this in AssemblyInfo.cs in particular.

Even more detail...
It works inside strings, UNLESS they contain a character high on Unicode (multibyte UTF-8 issue?).

I tested it with the copyright symbol and got one character off.
Some Malayan character I tried in Character Map made it two characters off.
