Description edisonmoreno 2016-11-21 16:35:28 UTC

We are using Visual Studio 2015 Community. 2 team with Community and 2 others as Professional.

Intellisense for XAML of Xamarin.Forms does not work.

Placing a "<" tag does not list the available graphic elements for a "Page" type XAML.

Everything is updated to the latest version (Visual Studio, Xamarin for Visual Studio, etc.)

When you add a graphic element inside <ContentPage .... it works intellisense correctly.
When a <StackLayout> <Grid> or other container is added, the intellisense stops working inside these containers.

Are you using a Shared Assets project for the XAML?
Comment 7 Daniel Cazzulino 2017-04-06 22:00:16 UTC
In VS2015+, XAML intellisense is driven entirely by the VS XAML language service.

Bug reports on it not working should be done using the VS Feedback tool instead, since there's nothing we can to do fix the built-in service and the XAML team has no visibility of Bugzilla bugs.
