Mono\Xarmin: treat the following url as absolute path which is wrong.
.Net\Visual Studio: treat the following url as relative path which is correct.
string addressString = "/catalog/shownew.htm?date=today";
// Parse the string and create a new Uri instance, if possible.
Uri result = null;
if (Uri.TryCreate(addressString, UriKind.RelativeOrAbsolute, out result))
// Check whether new Uri instance is absolute or relative.

Please run the attached sample app from both VisualStudio2015 on Windows and Xamarin 6.1.2 on Mac to compare the difference.
