Elements in the Main.Storyboard visual view are not reflected in the iOS simulator.

- Create new solution
- Click on Main.Storyboard
- Set the view for example on iPhone 6
- Add elements from toolbox
- Give elements proper names and ID's (Name: itemLabel, Text: Title)
- Save
- Build and run on iOS Simulator 10.1 (iPhone 6)
- Most of the time the first run works
- Change the position of an element
- Build and run again
- Changes are not reflected

Removing the app on the device, restarting the device or cleaning the build do not work.

Clicking an element and selecting the 'Constraints +' option seems to refresh the project. Building the project after doing this gives a correct representation in the simulator.

In the attached screenshot, we first put the elements on different places (with constraints on every element), made a build, and afterwards we ordered the elements more nicely, build again and no change.

This is not really a bug, this will happen if AutoLayout and Size Classes are enabled in your storyboard. You need to configure your elements so they can accommodate to any screen size. You can follow the following guide to learn more about it.

If you just want to create a single storyboard interface and have a fixed design you just need to disable AutoLayout and Size Classes by selecting the background (gray-ish area) of your designer and uncheck both options from the property panel in XS.
