Description Jonathan Shore 2012-04-27 17:17:27 UTC
Looking at mono/mini/driver.c, mono_jit_parse_options does not support the llvm flag, whereas the main function for mono command line does.

Is it simply a matter of adding a test for --llvm to mono_jit_parse_options and setting mono_use_llvm? Or is there a reason why LLVM cannot be supported yet by the embedded runtime?

if (strcmp (argv [i], "--llvm") == 0) {
    fprintf (stderr, "Mono Warning: --llvm not supported on this platform.\n");
    mono_use_llvm = TRUE;

Please advise.

LLVM should work in embedded mode too, committed that change to master.
