When you have a TabbedPage with 3 children all with OnAppearing events you expect those to fire whenever the tab is selected. When using Xamarin.iOS everything works as expected.
On Xamarin.Android when you select the second page, the OnAppearing event for the third page will fire.
I have provided a minimal sample in the attachment.
I think this bug (or a similar one) was fixed some time ago.
There were other PRs as well which are probably in master. I'm not sure if they were GA'ed. Which version of XF are you using in your repro? If you aren't already, you should use the latest pre-release to see if it makes any difference.
The project is using 126.96.36.199. Upgrading to 188.8.131.52-pre4 (the latest on nuget) doesn't seem to fix the issue.
