Description Hrvoje 2016-10-27 20:20:38 UTC
In previous beta build we had renddering custom controls in designer as expected.

For instance, if I create custom control of ScrollView and put it as root of our layout, in designer it is displayed as dark control without any child control in it, eventhough it does have child controls if we look into axml code.

Simple custom control (such as inherited TextView), is painted as black control (not rendered as textview).

Is a 64-bit version of the JDK installed?
This is now required to use custom controls in the Android Designer (https://developer.xamarin.com/releases/android/xamarin.android_7/xamarin.android_7.0/).

Also, may I ask for your full version information? https://developer.xamarin.com/guides/cross-platform/troubleshooting/questions/version-logs/#version-information

Does that mean that we need to have both 32 and 64 bit version of JDK installed, or only 64bit?
