It seems like the Parameter insight windows always pops up on my left monitor, even though I have MD on the right one, which is also my main monitor.

If I move monodevelop to the left monitor, the parameter insight box pops up in the right position, so perhaps the positioning simply does not take multi monitor setups into account.

Mike: where's the code that shows these tooltip windows??
Comment 2 Mike Krüger 2012-04-24 16:23:57 UTC
PositionParamaterInfoWindow in ParameterInformationWindowManager.

From the code I would say it should work. Atm I don't have a multi monitor setup to test it :(

fixed in git master. The problem was that X and Y were initially 0 when they got the monitor geometry (so it gave you the geometry of the left monitor, *always*).
