I get this when trying to open a XIB file:

Assistly 10176 contains the project, it is called "ProAgMobileDashboardV2", try opening the "DashboardGraphViewController.xib"

The following line of code appears to be returning null (which seems like it shouldn't happen)

var baseCliType = dom.Compilation.LookupType (type.BaseCliType);

Mike: can you take a look? It's in NSObjectProjectInfo.cs:200

Could we also in addition to fix this particular case, warn the user "Could not generate the project because it is not possibel to resolve XXX"?

We dont want to regress the XIB support with 2.9.x

Flaggin as blocker, since we cant ship MD while this bug persists.
