Description gilles.dehais 2016-09-20 12:07:21 UTC

When I do a popasync on a page, the navigationstack has no more elements and the app stay on the same page. When I hit the back button after, the app crashes.

To replicate the bug :

start app on page 1
pushasync to go to page 2
pushasync to go to page 3
popasync to return to page2
pushasync to go to page 4
push back button to return to page 2
pushasync to go to page 3
popaysnc to return to page 2 <= popasync empty the navigation stack. You can't do anything in the app after that !

It doesn't append when I use pushmodal/popmodal to go/go-back on/from page 3.

Thanks for your help.

It works perfectly on windows phone. The problem is only on IOS.

After further investigation, when a DisplayAlert (Xamarin.Forms.DisplayAlert) is called then a popasync is send (the popup alert is still displayed), the app cannot go back/refresh the page, and your app stay on the current page. Then you cannot do anything with it.

Wait until the popup is dismissed, then send the popasync and every things works perfectly.

Nevertheless, it works on UWP app with the popup not dismissed.
