When I start debugging with remote simulator option, an initialization window pops up, says "connected to MAC" but then an error appears saying: "The device ...(GUID) was not found.". Things I have tried:
1. Updating the simulator (did not help)
2. Uninstalling and reinstalling the simulator (via Control Panel-->Programs and Features) (did not help)
3. Trying with different iOS device profiles (e.g. iPad, iPhone5, iPhone6 etc.) (did not help)
Can you attach the simulator logs from C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Xamarin\Logs\Xamarin.Simulator and ~/Library/Logs/Xamarin/Simulator.Server ?
What version of Xcode are you using?
We have not received the requested information. If you are still
experiencing this issue please provide all the requested information
and re-open the bug report. Thanks!

I have the same problem. I've attached my logfiles. Could you reopen this ticket?
I think this problem only happens, when multiple users are using the same macos build server. It always seems to work for one user, all others get this error.
