When creating a layout in Xamarin.Forms (188.8.131.52) the Grid layout incorrectly calculates the size of a row or column with height/width set to GridLength.Star if the rows or columns after it, using GridLength.Auto size, contain content that spans multiple rows/columns.
The example below demonstrates the error when dealing with rows.
**Steps to Reproduce**
Create a grid containing a RowDefinition with height = GridLength.Star.
Add a three rows with height = GridLength.Auto after the star row.
Add content to the first auto row after the star row and set it to span two auto rows.
Add content to the last auto row.
Observed on iOS and Android (unable to test on WP) that the auto row content is pushed off the bottom of the screen.
The star row should use only the remaining space, if any, and the auto row content should be at the bottom of the grid.
