Please create a new report on
Developer Community or GitHub with
your current version information, steps to reproduce, and relevant error
messages or log files if you are hitting an issue that looks similar to
this resolved bug and you do not yet see a matching new report.
Steps to reproduce:
Navigate to Content->Transitions
Select any transition type and hit [Transition]
The button will 'transition' between [Transition] and [Go Back] with an animation that resembles the description selected in 'Transition type'
No animation occurs.
This behavior is seen on both Release and Debug and on both Simulator and Device.
Not sure if MT issue or sample issue, so leaving it here for now.
> No animation occurs.
It seems the animation is done only once (no back, or second+ transition). It's easier to spot (on the simulator) by setting the using "Debug | Toggle Slow Animation".
Checking if that's related to the sample (or MT)...
It's not clear if the code is (or was) a work-in-progress (e.g. stuff is commented) but this works when using [Begin|Commit]Animations.
OTOH I'm not sure if the point of this file was to show the `Animate` API ?!? so I don't mind if Bryan (c.c.) wants to complete the sample :-) but it should not be left in this (unworking / unhelpful) state in GIT.
