I'm currently testing our app on android.
We have a toolbox button which is only enabled after several forms are filled.
But the UI test of the dialog can press the button at any time even when it is disabled.
Are you suggesting that a) UITest fires the event when the button is pressed, or b) that the button can be pressed but nothing happens?
If it's the latter then that's expected behaviour. However, you can make a feature request here:
the problem is:
Fragment is created --> button disabled
UI Test click on disabled button --> event fired
In my eyes a disabled button should not trigger an event.
Or I'm doing sth. wrong.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to reproduce this report. If this issue is still occurring for you, please reopen this issue and attach a project that reproduces the issue to the bug by starting with a clean Xamarin.Android/UITest project and adding just the code necessary to demonstrate the issue. Thanks!
Because we have not received a reply to our request for more information we are closing this issue. If you are still encountering this issue, please reopen the ticket with the requested information. Thanks!
