Hi Martin,

A closer look at the error log suggests that the problem is the following:

		Undefined symbols for architecture arm64:
		  "_JSONSTORE_ANALYTICS_PACKAGE", referenced from:
		      -[JSONStoreMigrationManager checkForUpgrade] in IBMMobileFirstPlatformFoundationJSONStore.a(JSONStoreMigrationManager.o)
		      -[JSONStore openCollections:withOptions:error:] in IBMMobileFirstPlatformFoundationJSONStore.a(JSONStore.o)
		      -[JSONStore closeAllCollectionsAndReturnError:] in IBMMobileFirstPlatformFoundationJSONStore.a(JSONStore.o)
		      -[JSONStore changeCurrentPassword:withNewPassword:forUsername:error:] in IBMMobileFirstPlatformFoundationJSONStore.a(JSONStore.o)
		      -[JSONStore destroyWithUsername:error:] in IBMMobileFirstPlatformFoundationJSONStore.a(JSONStore.o)
		      -[JSONStore destroyDataAndReturnError:] in IBMMobileFirstPlatformFoundationJSONStore.a(JSONStore.o)
		      -[JSONStore startTransactionAndReturnError:] in IBMMobileFirstPlatformFoundationJSONStore.a(JSONStore.o)

This suggests it's a bug on MobileFirst.iOS.JSONStore.dll and not on Xamarin.iOS itself.

We don't maintain that library so you'd need to reach out to IBM for them to sort out this issue.

Reopening and assigning to David, as he can be of more us than me.
Comment 4 martink 2016-09-08 07:45:19 UTC
Issue has been solved by unchecking "Enable incremental builds" as discussed in https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=41999
