So this is a cosmetic bug (red X in references) but everything works?

@Chris Everything is working fine, also this red X in references get removed when I changed the the Target framework of extension project.

I note this also happens when adding a Xamarin.Mac Class Library project to an existing Xamarin.Mac app solution. However a Xamarin.Mac Binding project does not display this issue. 

Everything works and builds and I can even Right click on a Type in the XM framework and select "Go to declaration" and the assembly browser opens ayt the correct spot, so yes this seems like a "cosmetic" issue. Closing and re-opening the solution removes the red X and the assembly not found message.
