Given this sample code:
public static void Main(foo args)
The "using System;" is not required, hence it is shown in lighter color and has an associated tooltip saying "Hint: remove redundant usings".
Now if you try to compile this code, that hint gets applied once more after each failed build. The popup shows multiple lines, and the text gets less and less visible. See attached image.
If the compilation succeeds, the problem does not get worse, but the existing number of hints stay until the solution is reloaded.
fixed that one - interresting effect btw.
But now the hints are totally disabled. I came up with the attached small patch, which seems to fix it.
