See this sample:

Full sample:

using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.Linq;

using MonoTouch.Foundation;
using MonoTouch.UIKit;

namespace GridDisplay
	// Since I cant get completion to work properly for a netsted class in GridVieController
	// I Figured "Lets move it outside, so it is not a nested class and MD does not get confused".
	// So I moved ScrollDelegate from GridViewController outise.
	// See what happens when I try to use "override" completion
	public class ScrollDelegate : UIScrollViewDelegate {
		public ScrollDelegate (NSObject container)
			this.container = container;

		// Notice how it offers me completions from the GridViewCOntroller type!
		// But there is no relationship to it at this poitn!
		override // Still there?
			// What do I have to do to make autocompletion work?
	public class GridViewController : UIViewController {
		UIScrollView scrollView;
		public GridViewController ()
		public override void ViewDidLoad ()
			base.ViewDidLoad ();
			scrollView = new UIScrollView (View.Bounds);
			scrollView.Delegate = new ScrollDelegate (this);
		public override void DidRotate (UIInterfaceOrientation fromInterfaceOrientation)
			scrollView.Frame = View.Bounds;
	public class TvGuideViewController : GridViewController {
	[Register ("AppDelegate")]
	public partial class AppDelegate : UIApplicationDelegate
		UIWindow window;

		public override bool FinishedLaunching (UIApplication app, NSDictionary options)
			window = new UIWindow (UIScreen.MainScreen.Bounds);
			window.MakeKeyAndVisible ();
			window.RootViewController = new TvGuideViewController ();
			return true;

Notice that destroying the window, and reopening the file fixes this.

Found a way to repro it:

Same source code as baove.
