## Steps to reproduce

Download sample (in next comment) and build for an iOS device in any configuration - note that this builds fine when building for the simulator.

No errors

Reproduce status:

Using the builds mentioned in the issue, I am successfully able to reproduce this issue, as after selecting device when try to build the application, it displays the build error, i.e. "MT4109: Failed to compile the generated registrar code"

Verified status:

However, with both the builds mentioned in the bug, i.e.

Master: xamarin.ios-
Cycle8: xamarin.ios-

Using both of the above mentioned builds, as after selecting device when try to build the application, the error mentioned in the bug is not appearing and it builds successfully.

Moreover, with these builds when we select the configuration as Release|Device or Ad-Hoc|iPhone then in that case 4 build error appears, i.e. "MTOUCH: error MT3001: Could not AOT the assembly" and a bug has already been reported for the same. Bug ID: Bug 42549

Hence, w.r.t the issue mentioned in the bug, we can close this issue.
