I have only tested this on android.
If you have a ListView + Footer the application behaves correctly and an invisible (non clickable) footer is below the last item.
If you surround your listView with a CarouselView the footer of the listview now becomes clickable that if you click crashes with Specific cast not valid.
Steps to replicate.
1. load application
2. click space below "String Number 10" row
3. application CRASH
The footer below "String Number 10" should not be clickable as it isnt a list item
Still occurring as of the 2.3.3 stable. There are some issues when using the prerelease versions of Forms/Forms.CarouselView, it seems like; I believe that issue was filed elsewhere. Will set to confirmed for now for further future investigation.
CarouselView to be deprecated and replaced with https://github.com/xamarin/Xamarin.Forms/pull/853
