DatePicker test project
I am currently using a DatePicker in a project and ran across an issue that is causing my customers headaches.
On Android 5.1 and higher, the DateChange event does not fire. I also tried setting the OnDateChangeListener, and it also doesn't fire.
Both of these work fine on Android 5.0 or lower.
I have attached a sample project to illustrate the issue. I also have screen recordings of emulators showing the issue. In the videos, the Genymotion emulator on the left is Android 4.4.4, and the right emulator is Android 6.0.
Since the videos are larger than allowed as attachments, I am sharing them on DropBox.

Here is a Java sample, also demonstrating the reported issue: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0fi7ikxekjs9ynb/DateChangeTest.zip?dl=0
Thanks Cody. I used your java example and created an issue with Google.
Let's hope it gets fixed sometime.
It looks like this bug is an issue in the native platform so I will resolve it as UPSTREAM. If you notice something different, please comment and reopen. Thanks!
