In 2.8a2 (2.7.11), the debugger never connects and no breakpoints are ever hit. If the app crashes on load for some reason, gdb never quits and just hangs there eating cpu
This is with MT trial 4.0.6-1 and mono 2.10.4. The 10000 port is open but the debugging connection never happens. Same behaviour whether the app is suspended or not running at all when the debugging session is started.
I am having the same problem with MT 4.0.6 and MD 2.6RC2. If I downgrade back to MT 126.96.36.199 then it will start attaching again.
I forgot to mention that I have Mono 4.10.5
Sorry I meant Mono 2.10.5
I was able to make it work with 4.0.6-1. It appears that the Debugger Host defaults to automatic instead of 127.0.0.1. If you go into the settings app and set the debugger host to 127.0.0.1 then it will start attaching properly.
