When I add an item with an icon to ToolbarItems, it's not expanding the icon (view) in case the icon is wider.

It works well on iOS and Android 4.1, but on higher Android APIs it's not working properly.

I'm sending some screenshots and a sample project with this problem. In this sample I'm using a dummy icon that could be replaced by a simple text, but in my real project it's not possible, so that's why I need this fix ASAP.

Project uses Xamarin.Forms 2.1.
