If I put something in the Entry, it will show up, but after I lost focus I can't see the Text which I put it in. I think maybe there is some color problem.
I upload some picture for you check.

Still can't believe this kind of simple coder Bug not fixed after 5 month.
Comment 2 Christoph 2016-10-13 07:30:29 UTC
Yes, happend to me too. Did you find a workaround for now?
Comment 3 Mike 2016-10-13 07:33:07 UTC
@Christoph Nope, I'm using white theme, ugly but at least working.
Comment 4 Christoph 2016-10-16 09:23:51 UTC
Updating Xamarin.Forms helped for me...
Comment 5 Mike 2016-10-28 08:57:21 UTC
I think it and worked fine now. Looks like fixed. I close it.
Comment 6 dpedrinha 2016-11-10 04:33:54 UTC
@Christoph @Mike the latest Forms version doesn't even compile. Which version are you using?
Comment 7 dpedrinha 2016-11-10 04:36:10 UTC
Oh wait, the pre4 fixed it! Too bad the last 5 updates (including the latest one) are still throwing compilation errors (red underlines).
Comment 8 Mike 2016-11-10 04:37:05 UTC
@dpedrinha@gmail.com  I don't remember, I think it was 2.3.2 which I tested.

But the black theme still too ugly, I give up and continue use white theme.

This bug is still not solved.
XF pre4 still shows this mis-behaviour when phone is on dark theme!
Comment 10 Tom_Qv 2017-03-12 13:03:58 UTC
the same bug is also with the Editor-class.
Comment 11 predalpha 2017-06-14 14:06:29 UTC
Still not solved on (both for entry and editor controls)
Comment 12 Christoph 2017-09-18 13:52:10 UTC
For me the problem just reappeared:
Xamarin Forms does not have it, but with it is back :-(
