Description Brandon Minnick 2016-05-23 17:01:00 UTC
I recommend including the latest version of the UITest NuGet, v1.3.8, as the default version in the New Project template.

When creating a new UITest Project in Visual Studio, the default/installed UITest NuGet package that comes with the project template is v1.0. Version 1.0 is now deprecated and will cause every UITest to fail. Updating the UITest NuGet to the latest version immediately solves the problem.

I'm using Visual Studio Enterprise 2015 Update 2 with the current Beta-channel version of Xamarin.

Hi Brandon, can you please share exactly the Xamarin VS version number you're using?

This should be already fixed in latest cycle 7 bits. (Including the current Beta-channel version of Xmarin).

Thanks Jose,
I just confirmed that you're right: It is fixed in Visual Studio version!

We can close this out.
