Referring to this solution: 

When a declaration has been moved from the DesignerGenerated File to the main .cs file, it will be re-added to the designer File whenever there are code changes in the main file. While the solution above works, every time you change a code in the main File you have to compile, confirm the Error "The type 'Mywindow' already contains a definition for 'MyWidget'", delete the line in the designer .cs and compile again. 

No big deal, but confusing at first and slowing down development process.
