Description René Ruppert 2012-03-23 06:37:27 UTC
I'm in file B, class B.
I type A.DoIt().
It does not build, because DoIt() is marked "private".
I would like to change this by jumping to "DoIt()".
Unfortunately, "Got to declaration" is not offered because the method is private.

Expected behavior:
Go to declaration should ignore the protection level and just go there.

I can still repro this. Resolver shows "does not exist" instead of "not accessible".
Comment 2 Mike Krüger 2013-08-19 15:36:50 UTC
y, it's not resolveable - that's a problem - we need a resolve mode where everything is accessible for the jump to declaration command.

Fixed in version (roslyn)
