Repo Case

I have attached a sample demonstrating the issue.

The sample contains a root grid which contains the following children.

1. button1
2. grid
3. button2

the middle grid has input transparent set to false meaning you should not be able to tap through to button 1.
but you can and the application crashes.

if you explicitly set the colour on the grid the input transparent blocks fine.

Any developments on this? Seems like it should be a pretty simple bug to fix. Been in here for 7 months now

After some discussion we've decided that this is a documentation issue and won't be changing the current behavior, as explicitly setting the color on the WinRT controls as a default behavior would result in a performance penalty for those unaffected by this issue.
