Created attachment 184 [details]

As per screenshot, when I finished typing 'new' and hit space, i was offered one choice which was not highlighted.

This is probably because I haven' created a class called 'App' yet.

The completion list goes into "suggestion mode" instead of "completion mode" in contexts where the C# completion engine is not able to provide the full list of valid values. Not sure why the completion list is in suggestion mode in that context. It might be something to do with trying to handle anonymous types, but presumably you'd only need that when assigning to var, and we could also solve it by putting "{}" in the completion list like we do for delegate assignments.

it's not really suggestion mode when you type 'L' the list should be highlighted.

I suspect in that context it can be fine tuned to allow empty selections as well ... but I've to think about that.

k it's a bug - not a feature.
