Description steven.orth 2012-03-20 19:07:33 UTC
The constructor ObservableCollection(Of T)(IEnumerable(Of T)) is not implemented. You get a run-time NotImplementedException when invoking it. Did not test the other constructors.

I just tested this with

using System;
using System.Linq;
using System.Collections;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.Collections.ObjectModel;

static class Test
	internal static void Main ()
		var enumerable = new int[] { 1, 2, 3}.AsEnumerable ();
		var collection = new ObservableCollection<int> (enumerable);
		collection.Add (9);
		Console.WriteLine (collection.Count);

This is working fine with Mono 2.11.2, but I also get the InvalidOperationException with Mono 2.10.9

It is unlikely that we will backport these changes to 2.10.

This should be fixed in our latest stable
