Description N. Taylor Mullen 2016-03-28 17:01:11 UTC
I was able to reproduce this issue on Ubuntu 14.04 with mono 4.0.5. Also, this issue may expand to more string methods than EndsWith, it's just the one I encountered.

I ran the following program:
using System;

public class Program
    public static void Main(string[] args)
        var val = "something" + '\0';

With Mono this outputs "True". With CoreCLR on Linux and on windows (including net45 on win) this outputs "False".

Seems like an inconsistency in the implementations.
