Sample project demonstrating the issue

I have some content above and below a scroll view. The scroll view should be in the middle. Only on Android I'm observing the following behavior on the Android emulator (4.4 API 19):

The scroll view extends below the top and bottom content so that it overlays the other content elements.

This is only on Android. iOS and Windows Phone are working fine. Is there a wrong layout option or why does it behave differently on Android? I tried a few layout options without success.

Thank you for taking the time to submit this report and reproduction project. Unfortunately, we were unable to reproduce the problem as described. The app appears identically on all three platforms for us. Would it be possible for you to attach screenshots that illustrate the behavior you are experiencing?

Warm regards,
Xamarin Forms Team

Now I also organized an Android device and it works on the device (HTC One M7), but not on the simulator. So I think this bug report can be closed. I also saw that the solution file is missing from my attached project, but I don't think it is necessary to reupload it.

Wow, that's very different! Are you using the Xamarin Android Player or the Visual Studio Android emulator?
Comment 4 blitzillu 2016-03-23 16:02:40 UTC
None of the both. Didn't know that these options exists. Thank you, I'll try them out. I was using the default Android emulator shipped with the Android SDK. All managed with the Android Virtual Device Manager.

Ok, great! I'll go ahead and close this for now. If you experience any other strange issues, feel free to contact us again! Thank you!
