BAD alphabetical launch image subsets
[XVS C6SR1] With "Alphabetical" sorting, Properties Window for Launch Images asset catalog shows ambiguous repeated "iPhone - Portrait", "iPad - Portrait", and "iPad - Landscape" entries
I am filing this bug primarily as a way to provide visibility for the _intentional_ change in behavior between "Cycle 6 – Service Release 0" and "Cycle 6 – Service Release 1".
The intended way to address this problem is to switch the Properties Window to "Categorized" sorting rather than "Alphabetical" sorting by clicking the button at the top left of the Properties Window.
## "Regression status": intentional change in "Cycle 6 – Service Release 1"
"BAD": Xamarin 188.8.131.52 (a78562a)
"BAD": Xamarin 184.108.40.206 (f869dba)
"BAD": Xamarin 220.127.116.11 (7082690)
"GOOD": Xamarin 18.104.22.1687 (1390b70)
## Steps to replicate
1. Create a new "Visual C# -> iOS -> iPhone -> Singe View App (iPhone)".
2. Right-click the "Asset Catalogs" entry in the Solution Explorer and select "Add Asset Catalog".
3. Add the default asset catalog named "Media".
4. Click on the "LaunchImages" heading in the asset catalog editor.
5. Open "View -> Properties Window".
## "Bad" Results (when the Properties Window is set to "Alphabetical" sorting)
(See attached image "BAD C6SR1 alphabetical launch image subsets".)
There are several repeated names in the list of launch images subsets, so the user has to "guess and check" to enable the desired subset.
### List of launch image subsets in the Properties Windows
> iPad - Landscape True
> iPad - Landscape False
> iPad - Landscape (Exclude Status Bar) False
> iPad - Portrait True
> iPad - Portrait False
> iPad - Portrait (Exclude Status Bar) False
> iPhone - Landscape False
> iPhone - Portrait False
> iPhone - Portrait True
> iPhone - Portrait False
> Name LaunchImages
## "Good" Results (when the Properties Window is set to "Categorized" sorting)
(See attached image "GOOD C6SR1 categorized launch image subsets".)
The launch image subsets are divided into 3 headings:
- iOS 6 and Prior
- iOS 7 and Later
- iOS 8 and Later
As expected, each heading contains no more than 1 repetition of any particular subset name.
## Additional version info (brief)

GOOD categorized launch image subsets
Marking as "resolved answered" because the intended way to solve the issue is to switch the Property Window to "Categorized" sorting, as discussed in Comment 0.
