Test Project

## Description

Items not showing in ListView using DataTemplate when there are more items than can fit on screen.

## Step to reproduce

1. Open attached test project in Visual Studio.

2. Deploy WinPhone (Windows Phone 8.0) app.

Expected result: Will see a list of items titled "Test: 0", "Test: 1", etc. (should be 100 items)

Actual result: No text showing, although list is scrollable and seems to be the correct length. After scrolling, some item titles do start to show, but sporadically. Eventually, after scrolling the whole list a couple of times, the item titles do show.

This is also affecting the group header cells in the ListView
Comment 3 Andreas 2016-03-15 09:47:14 UTC
I'm also having this problem! Using WP 8.X Silverlight
In my case, the list is totally blanc (items not visible), but if I tap in the list, the tapped event is fired etc. If I push a new page on the stack, then pull it, the listview is fulli visible (seems to need some new draw-cycle or something...).

The problem only occurs if I use a Grid inside my ViewCell. No matter how the row/column width/height is set (*, Auto, fixed), same problem...

And I can confirm it works (list is visible) if the items in the list doesn't fill the whole screen...

Please fix asap!

Should be fixed in 2.2.0-pre1
Comment 5 Gaudebert Loïs 2016-03-16 15:22:29 UTC
Any idea about a release date for the 2.2.0-pre1 ?

I have checked this issue with Xamarin.Forms 2.2.0-pre4 and its working fine.

Hence closing this issue.
